Speaking to Boxing Social, Fury made it clear that the ‘fire is back.’
“It has been a long time. It took two years to get the fire back but the fire is back. I’m motivated. I’m fit, I’m fresh and sexy,” laughed Fury.
Fury will perform under the lights on June 9 in Manchester for the first time since his historic win over Wladimir Klitschko in November, 2015 in Germany.
The anticipated comeback bout will also mark the first time ‘The Gypsy King’ headlines and boxes in Manchester in front of his hometown crowd.
“I’m over the moon to be back. I’m gonna put on a massive show for the fans and it’s going to be an excellent night and I’m looking to be a part of a big bill,” he continued.
So far an opponent is yet to be announced for Fury but whoever he might be, it won’t be a tough night in the squared circle even though the threat of ring rust could be present for Fury.

“I want to take it step by step. It’s been a long time away from the ring and I’m not under any illusion that I’m gonna be ready to fight Mike Tyson in my first fight back. Let’s just say it’s going to be an exciting fight. I’m going to be learning, not learning because I already know it but I’m going to be sharpening the tools,” concluded Fury.
