Tyson Fury has given the clearest indication that he will in fact be fighting Dillian Whyte next.
The WBC heavyweight champion has been on a verbal tirade all week taking shots at Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk and Dillian Whyte. With the purse bids for his mandatory defence against Whyte scheduled to be resolved by tomorrow ‘The Gypsy King’ posted a video with a strong hint
that a fight against ‘The Body Snatcher’ is on.
“I can’t wait to punch Dillian Whyte’s face in. I’m gonna give him the best hiding he’s ever had in his life. Dillian Whyte, train hard sucker because you’re getting annihilated.”
Constant speculation had led many to believe that Anthony Joshua was going to step aside from facing Usyk in a rematch to allow Fury to fight the WBA, IBF and WBO champion for the undisputed title.
But these latest comments from the WBC title holder look as though Usyk will face ‘AJ once again while Whyte will land his first ever world title opportunity.
