# Fury Wants To Avenge His ‘Only Real Loss’- “Who Would Like To See Me Against My Oldest Rival”

As we all wait for Tyson Fury’s return to professional boxing, there’s still the matter of getting his license and an opponent for his comeback fight. ‘The Gypsy King’ most likely won’t get a shot at Joshua for his return so naturally, a tune up is in order to shake off any kind of ring rust after a long break.

Fury has brought up a potential opponent from his past. David Price.

> Who would still like to see me vs my oldest rival [@DavidPrice\_1](https://twitter.com/DavidPrice_1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) the Big stiff plumber.??????

Price obviously took the bait immediately.

> Tyson I'm the last (and only) Englishman to beat you! I know deep down you still want revenge. Now if you don't mind I'm fitting an en suite [https://t.co/VHaroThIbI](https://t.co/VHaroThIbI)

The two share a history for sure. Fury famously called Price a number of things live on air during James DeGale’s fight against Hadillah Mohoumadi in 2012.

Price beat Fury during their amateur days back in 2006.

In 2012, after knocking out Audley Harrison, Price became the mandatory challenger for Fury’s British and Commonwealth titles but the fight never happened due to Fury vacating both belts.

> Would love ❤️ to put it right if I could,\
> Like I said I'm the past they will need 10 plumbers to fix u when I'm done with u.?

Fury also put up a poll on Twitter so that his fans could vote for his next opponent.

> Who should be my next victim?

Price has definitely accepted Fury’s challenge as it would be a massive opportunity for him. He is ready to take on the former World heavyweight champion.

> let's do it. 'Easy' one back for you. Massive opportunity for me and anything could happen ?

Aside from Price, Fury’s biggest goal in 2018 is to dethrone Anthony Joshua. The two parties have apparently held a few talks but nothing serious in terms of official negotiations.

And as previously mentioned, Fury’s ban still has not been lifted and it is unclear whether he will actually get his license back. The British Boxing Board of Control have stated that they are willing to let Fury fight in 2018 if he gets in shape and shows mental improvement.

According to reports, Fury will have his final hearing with UK Anti-Doping in December.
