Terence Crawford and Gervonta Davis are two of the finest fighters in the sport, with both considered a staple in the top ten pound for pound rankings.
Both are also known as amongst the best finishers in boxing, with 30 of Crawford’s 39 victories and 27 of Davis’ 29 wins coming inside the distance.
American prospect Brian Norman has had the “pleasure” of sparring both men, and revealed in a recent interview with Showbizz that ‘Tank’ has the harder one shot power.
“When I sparred Terence Crawford, I was 20 years old and he tried to old man me and show me I was a boy.”
“But even when you see him fight, he doesn’t necessarily one shot people. He beats you up, then he kills you!”
“But as far as one shot power and who got that? I’ve got to give it to ‘Tank'”
Crawford could be in with a chance to showcase his skill and power in the biggest fight of his career with ESPN reporting that an undisputed bout with Errol Spence Jr has been agreed to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 29.
With both Spence and Crawford having entered their mid thirties, fans across the world were losing hope that the undisputed fight would ever take place, especially given the promotional barriers that have always seemed to divide the two.
Davis’ has already has his marquee night for 2023, when he stopped Ryan Garcia with a vicious body shot at the T-Mobile Arena last month. And with the likes of Devin Haney, Shakur Stevenson and Lomachenko all in his division, many more big nights seem inevitable for the young star.
