Tyson Fury makes his comeback to boxing official this weekend when he takes on Sefer Seferi in Manchester on June 9.
The boxing world will certainly be watching but what about Frank Warren’s biggest rival promoter, Eddie Hearn?
“Probably yeah. It’s actually my birthday weekend. 39,” said Hearn to Boxing Social.
Likewise, the Albanian Seferi is also 39 years of age. He is listed as 5’9 and is mostly known for being a cruiserweight. When asked about the matchup, Hearn didn’t shout any praises.
“It’s a nothing fight. It’s a nothing opponent. It is what it is. It’s a comeback,” stated Hearn.
‘The Gypsy King’ made headlines last week with a video of him promising to ‘destroy’ both Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

As one can expect, Hearn has most likely seen Fury’s video. The Matchroom promoter seemed unimpressed by Fury’s call outs and he explained why.
“It’s great to see him back. It’s great to see him back in the division [but] he can’t call out the big boys while he’s fighting guys like this.”
That being said, Hearn does want Fury to shine in his comeback fight this Saturday.
“Hopefully he looks good. I don’t want him to look poor because it will ruin any potential future fights,” concluded Hearn.
