# Eddie Hearn Repeats Simon Jordan Fight Offer – ‘Let’s Do Six Rounds’

It seems that Eddie Hearn has been around boxing long enough to want to settle differences in the ring.

The outspoken promoter has been involved in a back and forth with TalkSPORT’s Simon Jordan about the doping scandal that has consumed British boxing news.

[Hearn’s fighter, Conor Benn, was found to have tested positive for a banned substance](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/chris-eubank-jrs-team-respond-to-benns-second-test/) in the lead up to a much-hyped scrap with Chris Eubank Jr. The event was postponed, but not straightaway – and that seems to be where Jordan takes issue with the promoter.

He has called Hearn a coward for not facing up to appropriate media scrutiny, and demanded he do so on his show. The invitation has not been accepted, but a counter offer has been made – that of a charity fight. Speaking to [Pro Boxing Fans](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoQ3z8s-deU) recently, Hearn mentioned the idea for a second time.

> “All I said was that I’ve met him a couple of times, he said I haven’t and he’s realised I have. You’ve got to understand, this guy came out, started calling me a coward and all this kind of stuff, so I’m not going to rush round to see him.”
>
> “I’m going to invite him to come on my BBC podcast, we can debate the whole thing. If not, if he thinks \[I’m\] a coward, let’s put the money up and we’ll do six rounds for charity. Sweet as a nut.”

Jordan and Hearn are likely to cross paths sooner or later. Whether that’s debating in a studio or jabbing in the ring remains to be seen. Boxing fans may just want to see both.
