# Power Punching Heavyweight Vows To Turn Tyson Fury’s “Lights Out”

Many men have tried to detach Tyson Fury from his consciousness, and all have failed – though Deontay Wilder did come close on a couple occasions.

However, one man believes he has the power to put Fury down and keep him there. And he’ll get the chance to do just that in a couple of month’s time.

Former UFC heavyweight champion [Francis Ngannou will lock horns](https://www.skysports.com/amp/boxing/news/12183/12933884/francis-ngannou-vs-tyson-fury-former-ufc-champion-says-he-is-shaping-boxing-skills-to-land-biggest-weapon) with ‘The Gypsy King’ in a crossover, non title bout on October 28th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in one of the largest combat sports events of this year.

And though few are giving ‘The Nightmare’ much of a chance against Fury, he told [Mike Tyson on Hotboxin](https://youtu.be/_OPqKWPPSg0?si=lnncW2Q8VthtCmiC)’ that he believes his power can prove the ultimate equaliser – though admits he needs to learn how to land it.

> “If I land the bomb on Tyson Fury, the lights will be turned off.
>
> But the problem is how to sharpen the weapon properly to land that bomb.
>
> It’s good to have the bomb, but as Teddy Atlas always says, you need the deliver system. You have to have a proper delivery system, and that’s something that’s always stick in my mind.
>
> We’re just getting started, we’re three months out. We’re going to get in shape, sharpen that technique and get faster and stronger.”

Though it is likely to be a huge commercial success, [Fury vs Ngannou is not expected to be particularly competitive](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/billy-joe-saunders-on-fury-ngannou/) and has received a mixed reception at best from boxing fans, who are still crying out for an undisputed world title fight between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

If Ngannou was to somehow find a way to defeat Fury, he would remarkably be crowned lineal heavyweight world champion on his boxing debut.
