Despite the lack of big fights currently signed, all eyes in boxing are, as per usual, fixated on the heavyweight division.
Talk of a four man heavyweight bonanza in Saudi Arabia featuring Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder has got fans dreaming, and would almost certainly see the ill feeling caused by failed negotiations and empty social media call outs disappear.
However, despite the view that the four men mentioned above are the cream of the crop amongst heavyweights, a certain controversial American contender has vowed to “run over” each one of them.
Jarrell Miller made every effort to put the division on notice in a recent interview with Bro Bible.
“When they come to me, I’ll run over every one of these motherf*****s!
I think a lot of these heavyweights are coming towards the end of their careers, and are looking for big paydays and to cash out.
Right now, I’m undefeated, I’m hungry, I’m still mean and young, and I’m looking good. Anyone who wants the smoke, I’m here for it.”
Though he has not yet tasted defeat as a professional, Miller’s resume lacks a standout win and his last outing was a slugfest with faded former champion Lucas Browne.
It remains unclear whether or not the elite names in the sport will be willing to work with Miller, given his failed drugs test ahead of a proposed fight with Anthony Joshua back in 2019.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has said in several interviews he would be unlikely to do business with ‘Big Baby’ again, however whether other marquee promoters share that view is another story.
