Tyson Fury is still searching for a September opponent having recently been linked to most names in the division.
Fury hasn’t fought since defeating his ‘old pal’ Derek Chisora for a third time last December.
After a deal to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown collapsed, ‘The Gypsy King’ has been linked to fights against Andy Ruiz Jr, Zhilei Zhang, Anthony Joshua and even UFC star Jon Jones.
The latest name to throw his name into the hat is controversial American, Jarrell Miller. ‘Big Baby’ is trying to rebuild his reputation after he was pulled from a clash against Anthony Joshua in 2019 when he failed a drugs test.
Speaking to BroBible about a potential fight with Fury, the undefeated American says he has the upmost respect for the Brit but would ‘smoke’ him if they entered the ring.
“I will fight Tyson right now! Tyson’s my boy, I’m the biggest s**t talker if I don’t like you I’ll tell you, but I like Tyson. Tyson’s one of the greatest heavyweights out there right now, period. He’s one of my favourites, other than myself. I’ve got nothing but love for him and his family, he’s a straight up gentleman but when it comes to boxing business I’m going to smoke his a**.
There is nothing but love and respect between myself and Tyson, but he’s looking for a great opponent I’m one of the best out here and I’m undefeated and I bring it. Let’s hope he takes it, he knows I’m a risky fight so the money has to be right – I want top dollar to fight him.”
Miller clearly wants one more shot at the big time, whether a top heavyweight will give him that opportunity remains to be seen.
