Carl Froch is never too far away from a public spat and now his feud with Jake Paul has been reignited as the YouTuber turned boxer claims ‘he wants a pay day.’
Much of it has centred around Fury delaying his undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk and the debate about whether or not Fury has declined.
He has previously spoken about a fight with Jake Paul and how easy he thinks it would be even though the former super middleweight world champion has been retired for several years.
Now Paul has been asked by Boxing Social if he thinks that Froch would really come out of retirement to face him.
“Of course he would he wants payday. Of course bro. All these guys would fight me. I’m the new Floyd Mayweather of the sport.
“I make my own decisions, I know how to get the biggest contacts done, I do the biggest pay-per-views, I can go whoever I want, so yes, everybody wants to fight me.”
He was then asked who he would most like to fight.
“I want a lot of fights but I think the number one on the list would be Canelo.”
Right now Canelo doesn’t have an opponent and is involved in new negotiations with different broadcasters having left PBC after failing to strike a deal. Jake Paul is next out on Saturday night in Puerto Rico against Ryan Borland.
