Jake Paul faces Ryan Bourland this weekend, but that hasn’t stopped the American from allowing his eyes to wander and possibly tee up future bouts for later this year, and has clashed with a man who was previously scheduled to take on Amir Khan.
Neeraj ‘Gangster’ Goyat (18-4-2) defeated eventual WBA featherweight world champion Can Xu (2-0 at the time) back in 2014 and fought a two-division world champion in Jose Zepeda (36-3 at the time) less than twelve months ago.
The 32-year-old appears to be putting himself in the mix for a showdown with ‘The Problem Child’, although the six weight-class and sixty-pound differentials make the proposal seem unlikely.
Nevertheless, Goyat travelled to Puerto Rico to confront Paul, as the American prepares for this weekend’s fight, accusing him of abusing a translation app before getting into a scuffle in a clip shared on Jake Paul’s Instagram.

Goyat – “Jake Paul, I am a man of my word, I am here! I am in your country, I am in your town!”
Jake Paul – “Come to Daddy, come to Daddy! You came to see me, but you don’t want to fight though.”
Goyat – “You are using translator application and you are abusing in Indian language.”
Paul – “You can’t handle a little s**t talk? Your feelings are hurt? Did I hurt your feelings?”
Before Paul’s attention can potentially divert fully onto Goyat, who was forced to pull out of a fight with Amir Khan in 2019, he must first take on Bourland on the undercard of Amanda Serrano’s undisputed featherweight title defence against Nina Meinke, live on DAZN.
