Jake Paul has offered to step in and face KSI later this month after his fight was thrown into doubt.
The undefeated YouTube star had his own fight cancelled recently and was set to fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
But Paul, whose showdown with Hasim Rahman Jr. fell by the wayside due to a weight issue, has now thrown his name in the hat to take on KSI on August 27.
KSI was set to face fellow YouTuber Alex Wassabi in a boxing match at the O2 Arena in London, but the bout is reportedly in doubt after Wassabi suffered an injury.
A win over Jake Paul’s brother Logan Paul by split decision in their rematch in November 2019 was the last time KSI was seen in the ring, while Wassabi beat KSI’s younger brother Deji in March this year.
The news of his withdrawal was revealed by Keemstar, who hosts the internet news show Drama Alert, and now Paul is ready to roll.
Paul (5-0) uploaded a video to social media on Saturday afternoon offering to fight KSI in London:
“KSI’s fight, man, I heard the news. It sucks for Alex obviously, because he has a concussion and can’t fight, but now this puts KSI in a corner.
“If he doesn’t accept the fight with me, we all just know that he’s scared.”
Details surrounding the fight have yet to be confirmed – and it has yet to be made official that Wassabi is out of the contest.
Paul, who was originally meant to face Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury before Hasim Rahman Jr. stepped in, continued:
“KSI, I will come to London.
“I will weigh 180 pounds for the fight and you can be the A-side.
“What’s your excuse? Do you accept?”

Heard that Alex is out bc of a concussion. Fucked up. This was a big opportunity for Alex. He will be back.
KSI… everything happens for a reason. I’ll come fight in your hometown. Your boxing company. You are A-Side.
I also agree to make 180 pounds for August 27.
You accept? pic.twitter.com/B5XI167xPm
