Jake Paul Looks Set To Announce UFC Legend As His Next Opponent

Speculation as to who Jake Paul will share the ring with next seems to have come to a conclusion, with sources stating the YouTube star will face former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva on October 29th.

YouTube news host Keemstar, who has been a reputable source on prior fights, stated on Twitter that a fight with Silva, now 47, was primed to be announced.

The news of the Brazilian as a potential opponent comes after Paul went on to Twitter to confirm a fight had been pencilled in for October and that an official announcement would be imminent.

Despite his best years being undoubtedly behind him, Silva would still represent the toughest test of Jake Paul’s professional boxing journey to date. Although widely heralded for his exploits in the world of MMA, Silva actually holds a professional boxing record of 3-1 and scored a huge upset win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in 2021.

Paul’s promotional outfit, Most Valuable Promotions, also put out a statement reaffirming that the Ohio native would take to the ring again in October and would “almost certainly be the underdog.”

Anticipation as to who Jake Paul’s next opponent would be grew exponentially in the wake of fellow YouTuber KSI’s victories on his “Two Fights – One Night” show on DAZN this past weekend, with a future fight between the two undoubtedly the biggest in influencer boxing.
