The much-anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury is finally taking place in Saudi Arabia this weekend.
Although Fury failed to show up to the opening press conference, the intense face-off between the two in London has built up excitement for the catchweight clash. Fans and boxers alike are struggling to pick a winner for what is regarded as the toughest test to date for both men – although they won’t admit that themselves.
Paul took the mind games to the next level when he announced the birth of Fury’s daughter before the Brit had chance to make it public, and this served to only increase the animosity between the two.
Soon, the talking will be over with both fighters now in Saudi Arabia finishing off their camps. Given that both of their records are light, fans have been eager to compare training footage of the two in an attempt to figure out who might have the edge in Diriyah.
Some fans commented that Paul looks slow on his feet but might carry the edge in power. The American is trained by BJ Flores, while Fury will have his father, John, and his brother, the WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson, in his corner come fight night.
The clash between the two rivals was scheduled twice before but Fury had to pull out on both occasions. The first time was due to injury, while the second time he faced VISA issues trying to enter America.
Fans will be hoping it’s third time lucky and both men step between the ropes this Sunday. UK fans can watch live on BT Sport Box Office with US fans able to catch the action on ESPN+.
