One of the most exciting heavyweight contenders in the world has a clear view of how the Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois fight is login to go down this weekend saying one man will “beat the s**t” out of the other.
Jared ‘Big Baby’ Anderson laid out all but one of his 15 opponents so far and has fought just 41 professional rounds in all. Last time out he was taken the full 10 rounds for the first time by former Anthony Joshua victim and IBF title holder Charles Martin.
The big-hitting Anderson returns to the ring this weekend for a bout with Ukrainian Andriy Rudenko, who has lost to the likes of Hughie Fury, Zhilei Zhang and Alexander Povetkin, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ahead of that, he was asked by FightHype for his thoughts on Usyk’s defense of his three world titles against British challenger Dubois in Poland on August 26th, and he offered a sentiment shared by many.
“I think Usyk is gunna technically beat the shit out of him.”
Anderson then laid out what he sees as Dubois’ shortcomings in the fight, particularly his mobility.
“Dubois is very stiff. He may have a little power and strength but I don’t see him technically being able to handle the smart and tricky things that Usyk does. So I do see him beating him, like I said, technically pretty bad until like the 9th.”
Anderson then challenged Usyk to show he really does belong with the heavyweights.
“If Usyk has any of the power to carry to this heavyweight division, he stops him in nine.”
The fight will be shown in the UK on TNT Sports PPV.
