# Jarrell Miller Threatened Eddie Hearn In Heated Private Exchange: “I Know What You Did”

Time has not been a healer for the relationship of Eddie Hearn and Jarrell Miller.

The promoter booked Miller to face his star heavyweight, Anthony Joshua, back in 2019, but [testing positive for multiple banned substances](https://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/_/id/30436921/heavyweight-jarrell-miller-gets-2-year-suspension-ped-violation) ruled the Brooklyn native out.

All three were in the same room recently for the press conference to announce Saudi Arabia’s Day of Reckoning card. Speaking to [Seconds Out](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3F3Gp4R7dw), Hearn says that Miller threatened to ‘pull up on him’ in New York.

> “He came up to me and went ‘oh you scared now?’ on the stage, and I went ‘I ain’t f\*\*\*ing scared of you.’ I said ‘I know what you did.’ And he went ‘why didn’t you back me like you backed Conor Benn?’ and I said ‘because I don’t believe you.'”

> “And he said ‘next time when you’re in New York I’ll pull up on you or I’ll have someone pull up on you’ and I said ‘go f\*\*k yourself.'” And that was it.”

The promoter went on to say that he felt Joshua – who didn’t bring up Miller’s doping tests during a heated exchange – went easy on him.

> “Listen, I don’t mind Jarrell Miller. But I think AJ was very lenient on him, cause what I would’ve said was you had your chance and we all know what you did to try and gain an advantage to beat me, so bye-bye.”

Finally, he’s not ruling out a fight in the future.

> “If he wins, and somehow the public are desperate for the fight, who knows in the future? It’s up to AJ.”
