Jermall Charlo had been in line for a fight against Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, before he withdrew from talks and his twin brother Jermell stepped in and faced the Mexican last weekend.
Alvarez dominted ‘Mell for the whole twelve rounds in what was a non competitive affair, so much so that people accused the American of simply showing up for the money.
And his brother Jermall has spoke out on social media following the fight, and claims his children are now being bullied due to their uncles performance – and that he is coming for revenge.
“My kids was telling me that they don’t want to go to school no more, because everyone keeps walking up to them and say “your uncle lost.”
“They trying to bully my kids. ”
“I’m going to comeback and get revenge – watch. When I come back, I’m coming back for everything!”
Jermall has been out of the ring for close to three years, though still somehow holds the WBC middleweight world championship.
He could be in line for a return to the ring before the end of the year, with a clash against Jose Benavidez Jr reportedly on the cards.
As for his brother, it remains unclear whether or not he will look to return to light middleweight, where he still holds three of the four world titles.
The pair are not on the best of terms and many doubted whether Jermall would show up to support ‘Iron Man’ against Alvarez, though he did and they were pictured embracing in the locker room pre fight.
