Last week, Joseph Parker went viral as he called for a rematch with Dillian Whyte in unique fashion, with the help of a Take That song. Now the Kiwi is at it again, demanding a rematch to avenge a different loss on his record, and this call-out may be better than the first.
Former WBO heavyweight champion Parker lost to Dillian Whyte back in 2018 and looked ready to retire when he was knocked out by Joe Joyce four years later.
However, a resurgent Parker has rediscovered the form that won him his world title, securing back-to-back career best wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang within just ten weeks of one another.
As a result, the New Zealander is now recognised as a serious threat to the heavyweight throne once again and his WBO interim title means that he is well poised for a shot at becoming a two-time champion in the future.
Although, the belts appear to be tied up due to the undisputed battle between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk and Parker is seemingly using this time to attempt to avenge one of his career losses.
First, the 32-year-old called out Whyte to the tune of 1995 Take That hit ‘Back for Good’, but now Parker has called out another British heavyweight in a music video based around a song from another British artist as he revealed his ambition to face Anthony Joshua once again, in a creative call-out inspired by Ed Sheeran’s 2011 song ‘Lego House’.

‘AJ’ handed the Kiwi his first defeat when they met in Cardiff six years ago, losing his WBO title and after a similar slump, Joshua also appears to be back to his best.
Yet, Joshua is expected to challenge for a world title in his next contest and with little to gain from rematching Parker, it seems more likely that he will wait to face the winner of either Fury-Usyk or Hrgovic-Dubois instead.
