Since Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, both concluded routine title defences against Carlos Takam and Hughie Fury, respectively.
Both, the representation of Joshua and Parker in the form of Eddie Hearn and Dave Higgins of Duco Events have been locked in negotiations trying to finalise a unification showdown.
.@anthonyfjoshua 65% & rematch not enough to unify? Believe your own hype? Bubble's gonna burst bro #BigGlassRobot@eddiehearn @d_higgins_duco #NeverBeenDroppedpic.twitter.com/HYVAVAtFj8

According to the WBO world heavyweight champion, New Zealander, Joseph Parker has now shared that he feels an agreement with the popular Briton is now imminent.
Parker began by explaining the reason for the delay in the announcement is down to both fighters stressing over finding an agreement on the few sticking points.
He told T2T Boxing: “The fight with Joshua is very close. We’ve had a bit of a pause as we find (the) middle ground where both teams are happy.”
Parker spoke about the advantages he possesses coming into this matchup. The New Zealander believes speed and his ability to utilise movement to create angles will be pivotal.
.@anthonyfjoshua doesn't a 65-35% between two unbeaten champions sound fair? Nearly double our share. Don't worry a rematch clause is there in case you're worried about your chin #NoExcusesNow#NeverBeenDropped .@EddieHearn .@D_Higgins_Duco

“Coming into the fight I will be a lot lighter. I think angles — angles and speed.”
Parker also suggested he will try to take advantage of Joshua’s aggressive mindset by setting traps with his boxing skills.
“Joshua is a big guy with a lot of power who comes forward and chase you down.”
“But if I give him angles and (the) movement it will give him a bit of trouble so that’s what I’m looking to do.”
On a final note, Parker once again reaffirmed his belief that the talks with Joshua are all but completed.
If Anthony Joshua fights Joseph Parker I will bet anybody in the world £5000 cash the parker will ko him?

“But I think we’ve come to a conclusion – we’re just going to tidy things up, lock it in and get the fight going.”
The WBO world heavyweight champion says he hopes to share something concrete before Christmas.
“We want to lock something in before Christmas, so we can all have a holiday and enjoy it and then hit camp.”
This would be a better match than many say-Joe is underestimated-he can bang+we’d b closer to a unified title &that’s what we all want! #LetsGetReadyToRumble @Frank_1_Smith @MatchroomBoxing
