Anthony Joshua’s upcoming showdown with Francis Ngannou is just weeks away, and now the broadcaster for the huge event has been announced.
Joshua faces Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday 8 March, looking to make it four wins in 11 months following victories over Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin.
He takes on former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou, who shocked the world last time out when he knocked down Tyson Fury and came out on the narrow end of a close and perhaps controversial split decision verdict.
The broadcaster for the Joshua vs. Ngannou clash has been revealed, and will be broadcast worldwide as expected on DAZN, but in a surprise move will also be broadcast in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office.
Joshua had been synonymous with Sky throughout his career, with his first 27 professional fights being aired by the broadcaster, before his last three outings were shown on DAZN.
Sky Sports Box Office were also set to be one of the broadcasters for the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk undisputed heavyweight showdown on February 17, before a cut suffered by the ‘Gypsy King’ in sparring meant it was postponed to May 18.
Next month’s Joshua-Ngannou card will also feature Zhilei Zhang vs. Joseph Parker for the interim WBO heavyweight title, Nick Ball challenging Rey Vargas for the WBC featherweight title, plus more.
