Kell Brook continues tease British boxing fans about a potential comeback, and this week has revealed the three domestic names that could pry him back into the ring.
‘The Special One’ has not boxed since his six round demolition of old rival Amir Khan last February, with both men announcing their retirement in the weeks following the contest.
However, Brook has admitted struggling since hanging up the gloves and has, on numerous occasions, refused to rule out returning to action.
In a recent interview with Metro, the former world champion listed Conor Benn, Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr as three fights he would potentially be interested in, with Benn in particular seeming to appeal to Brook.
“The attention he [Benn] has had over the past year, that is a big fight, one that that would get me to push on in the gym. That fight would get me excited for a comeback.
But it is always complicated in boxing, There are so many things you don’t even hear about in making a fight like that happen and to be honest, I’m tired of all that kind of thing.
But those kind of fights interest me, names like Benn, Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr, these names would get me fuelled up again.”
Eubank is now set to rematch Smith after being stopped for the first time in his career in January. Meanwhile, Benn is still awaiting a verdict from UKAD around his failed VADA test last year.

Brook and Benn had to be separated ringside at the Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron show in Dublin in May, so the seeds appear to have already been planted for a clash down the line.
However, that all hangs on if and when Benn is cleared by UKAD, which all remains very much up in the air.
