The former IBF world welterweight champion, Kell Brook has lit the fuse ahead of what could be a super fight showdown between himself and the undefeated knockout sensation and WBC jr-middleweight world champion, Jermell Charlo.
‘The Special One’ made a return to winning ways in his first foray into the super welterweight division. He looked sharp and accurate and landed a series of clean thudding blows to stop the usually game Sergey Rabchenko inside of two rounds.

In that fight, the WBC silver title was on the line and the victory ensured Brook rapidly climbed the rankings and moved ever closer to securing a fight with the organisation’s world champion, Jermell Charlo.
Brook evaluated the challenge that the smaller Charlo twin will pose if they face off in the ring. He shared that Charlo while is ‘ exciting and explosive’, he is not the top dog or lion he claims to be but ensured that he is!
“[Charlo is] exciting and explosive. He’s a good all-rounder. He’s a bit unknown at the minute, his name is not massive, but the hardcore boxing fans know that Charlo’s a real champion.”
“He’s not a top dog or a lion, I am. I hear that Errol Spence gives him a bit of a hiding in sparring,” Brook told Sky Sports.
“If the money made sense, I would fight anyone, anywhere. I fought Gennady Golovkin, nobody would fight him.”
“The fans got me here and I want to provide the best fights for them.”
“Of course, I want fights in England, bring them over, and I’m the bigger name. Why couldn’t we do that?” Brook added.
Brook also added that he wouldn’t mind return to American soil for the clash. He referenced the time he claimed the world title against Shawn Porter in his backyard.
Lastly, Brook shared that the idea of a fight in Las Vegas or Madison Square Garden does intrigue him.
“I loved that night in Carson [IBF title win over Shawn Porter]. I would go back. When I was younger, America was the big stage for fighters.”

“But Britain now, we’ve got a lot of champions, we’ve taken over. Those big Vegas shows or Madison Square Garden are still there. I would still like to tick that off;” Brook concluded.
