Josh Kelly returns home to the North-East of England on July 30 as he looks to make it two wins out of two in quick succession.
The 28-year-old from Sunderland faces the challenge of ‘El Tornado’ Lucas Brian Bastida who will fight outside Argentina for the first time in his career.
After a 16-month absence from the ring Kelly shook off the cobwebs to beat Peter Kramer six weeks ago. ‘Pretty Boy’ showed the skillset that many believe can still take him to the top of the sport.
The Super-Welterweight, trained by Adam Booth, is now being linked with a host of fights including one against British champion Troy Williamson.
Bastida has lost just one in 20 contests. South Americans are notoriously tough and hard to budge so a reasonable test should lie in wait for Kelly.
The winner will receive the WBO International Super Welterweight title and a top 15 world ranking with the governing body.
The main event is on Channel 5, but you can watch the undercard live stream right here from our own Boxing Social YouTube Channel:
