Amir Khan is supremely confident he has Kell Brook’s number with the two set to finally fight one another on Saturday night.
The former super-lightweight world champion has arrived in the UK, leaving behind his training camp in America, and immediately laid into his old rival.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Khan said: “I just think it’s getting to him a bit too much where it could definitely throw his game-plan out the window, where he’s going to go into a fight, guns blazing, make mistakes and get caught himself.”
Khan and Brook have been involved in a war of words for several years which has intensified during the build-up to their eagerly anticipated fight in Manchester.
“I’m staying calm,” said Khan. “I’m finding it quite funny when I speak to him and I can see the anger in him. I just kind of mess around with him really, to be honest. That’s what it’s come down to. I pick on things, and I know it’s going to get under his skin.”
