Amir Khan is done with the jungle and can now focus properly on his boxing comeback which will happen in early 2018.
Earlier this year Khan promised his fans that he would fight before the year was over. High hopes of a 2017 Khan comeback gained more ground after the former World champion announced his move to San Francisco and started mentioning names like Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson.
But Khan then threw in a curveball and decided to head to the jungle as he took part in a reality tv show.

When speaking to the Bolton News, Khan went into detail about his boxing plans for 2018.
Previously this year Khan had brought up the idea of fighting again in the US for the fifth time in a row but apparently, he’s now decided to step into the ring on UK soil.
“I want to fight in the UK, I think it is time,” said Khan who has not fought in Britain since 2013 when he faced Julio Diaz in Liverpool.
Khan has been out of the ring since 2016 when he got knocked out by Canelo Alvarez.
“I am going to fight in March, I was training in the jungle every day it and I’m glad I went, it was a detox, I came back and I was in shape,” revealed Khan.
This weekend ‘King’ Khan was present at the British Sports Personality Of The Year awards in Liverpool.
Khan’s future opponent for his comeback is yet to be decided but there are a couple of potential names, including a big British welterweight clash.
The obvious name that gets linked to Khan time and time again is Kell Brook, who will make his own comeback on March 3rd in 2018 against Sergey Rabchenko.

Khan will most likely get a tune-up fight before calling out any big names, but at this point, a clash against Brook would be just the right fight for 2018.
“Its a fight that I’d be more up for than anything, because it has been talked about for years and I just want to get in and beat him up!” said Brook in an interview with IFL.tv.
“He has never given me any respect, he is always slagging me down. You know, at least I give him credit; he is a good fighter. He has got speed, it is good.
“Its a fear of, after how much slagging he has given me… For me to smash him in, he wouldn’t be able to walk the streets.
“I am petrified of losing to him. I don’t know if I’d be able to walk the streets of England anymore,” commented Brook.
