Following his second victory of the night in a sell-out O2 Arena, YouTube sensation KSI reeled off names that he would like to face next. Within that list of the internet-famous was professional boxer, Tommy Fury.
Immediately after his third round TKO victory over an extremely reluctant Luis Alcaraz Pineda, the Brit took the microphone and called out some potential opponents.
“Slim looks good – I want a piece of that. Austin versus Gib – I want the winner of that. Andrew Tate – I want a piece of that. Tommy Fury – I want a piece of that. I’ve warmed up and I’m ready, I’m excited. Nothing can harm me. I’m different.”
“These guys they think as soon as they get in the ring they can mess with me. Once they feel the power it’s dangerous, bro. I’m moving like Wilder in these streets, man. It’s scary.”
Tommy Fury caught wind of the comments. In fact, he had been watching all along. In response to KSI’s first victory against rapper Swarmz, he was baffled.
What have I just seen.

In direct response to the call out later in the night, he confirmed his interest in a scrap.
You know where to find me @KSI

Whilst two stoppages in one night sounds impressive on paper, the calibre of opponents told a different story. Fury, who has eight wins from eight fights, would be by far KSI’s toughest test to date.
The pair both tend to weigh in around about the light heavyweight limit and, despite Fury maintaining that he wants to be taken seriously as a boxer, there doesn’t seem to be much standing in the way of the fight.
Both KSI and Fury have been linked with fighting Jake Paul. As these fights develop and more events in this branch of the sport take place, a roster of names is becoming clearer. It was announced last night that Hasim Rahman Jr would face Brazilian MMA star, Vitor Belfort, in October.
