Liam Williams will carry on with his boxing career after signing a promotional deal with Probellum.
The news comes 48 hours after the Welsh middleweight lost to Chris Eubank Jr on points in Cardiff.
In what was billed as a 50-50 fight and had been built into a grudge match Williams was knocked down four times before losing for the fourth time in 28 fights. Undeterred the 28-year-old former world title challenger says he will be back later this year.
“The result against Eubank was obviously disappointing but sometimes that happens in boxing,” said Williams.
“I am confident that with Probellum by my side I’ll be given lots of new opportunities to be back winning again and I’m already focused on returning to the ring later this year.”
