Marvin Hagler’s Widow, Kay, Dismisses Vaccine Theory as ‘Nonsense’

After recent speculation surrounding the death of middleweight legend Marvin Hagler, his wife Kay has taken to social media to end one theory doing the rounds.

Hagler passed away at the weekend aged 66 years old to the shock of many. His most famous opponent, Thomas Hearns, had posted on his Instagram page that his old foe was in Intensive Care “fighting the effects after the vaccine” thus suggesting that a vaccination he had received for Coronoavirus (COVID-19) had affected Hagler’s health. The post has since been removed.

Hagler’s wife posted on her husband’s Facebook fan page, a page which he often posted from himself, saying the following:

“I was the only person close to him until the last minute, and I am the only person that know how things went. Not even his family know all the details and I do NOT accept to read some stupid comment without knowing really what happen[ed]. For sure wasn’t the vaccine that caused his death. My baby left in peace with his usual smile and now is not the time to talk nonsense.”

She also said that there would be no funeral or church celebration for her husband as he hated funerals.

“He wants to be remembered with a happy smile, but I would be happy if each of you can light a candle for him.

“However, there is something special that I will do because it was his wishes, and you will be informed at the right time by me. I just need time.”
