The debate continues to grow among fans but some, like Chris Eubank Jr, is not buying the Mayweather-McGregor hype.
He doesn’t think it will even be a proper fight. He feels that Mayweather will do whatever he wants and when he wants against the Irishman.
“Do I believe it will be competitive, probably not – no. I think Floyd will dominate Conor everywhere,” said Eubank Jr. In my opinion, what Floyd will do to Conor in the ring, is what Conor would do to Floyd in the Octagon. It’s no contest,” said Eubank Jr according to The Sun.
But despite the expected dominance by Mayweather, Eubank Jr is still going to watch the fight like the rest of us.
“Will I still be watching? Of course, I will. It’s going to be a spectacle and a massive event with big hype. This is going to be the biggest sporting spectacle of the year and the whole world will be watching. For that reason, I will be there ringside taking it all in.”
Before attending ringside Eubank Jr has a fight coming up on July 15th. He will defend his IBO world super middleweight title against Arthur Abraham at the Copper Box Arena in London.
