# Relentless McGregor Continues Verbal Onslaught

So far in terms of social media mind games and general trash talk – Conor McGregor is leading in the polls. Floyd Mayweather recently posted a training video online and McGregor has once again responded in his usual brash and cocky manner.

> You are in quicksand.

“You are in quicksand,” wrote McGregor to Mayweather implying that the 40-year old boxer has slowed down during his retirement that started in 2015.

Both fighters [have posted training](https://boxing-social.com/news/mcgregor-tries-to-shook-floyd/) footage online but it’s McGregor who is doing most of the pre-fight trash talking.
