Mike Tyson Sends Latest Warning To Jake Paul In New Training Footage

Heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson is just three months away from a return to the ring where he will take on YouTube sensation Jake Paul, and ‘Iron Mike’ has now sent a fresh threat to his opponent in some new training footage.

The announcement left mouths agape, with a 30 year age difference drawing concerns from the public that Tyson may have bitten off more than he could chew.

Meanwhile, those who grew up watching him felt for Paul’s safety, who is undeniably in serious trouble if Tyson is half the fighter that pugilists fell in love with all of those years ago.

Both sides of concern were recently eased when it was formally announced that the bout would be an exhibition, as opposed to a rumoured professional contest that would impact the 50-6 record of the once ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’.

Still, in typical Tyson fashion, the two-time heavyweight champion claimed that the official rules would have no impact on the mean intentions that he will bring to the ring, in what will be his third exhibition since retirement in 2005.

True to his word, ‘Iron Mike’ appears to be in intense training, consistently posting clips of himself in the gym to prove that he is putting in the work and taking the challenge seriously.

In his latest training footage, Tyson can be seen doing sprints, in the face of rumours that he has difficulty walking these days, captioning the video in a less sinister fashion than the man of old may have done but maintaining his intimidating aura.

The running footage came hot on the heels of his latest pad footage video, where he stated that he can’t wait until it’s Paul that he’s throwing punches at.

As if the allure of Mike Tyson’s return was not enough, a rematch of a modern classic has now been added to the undercard of the event, which will be available to watch on Netflix on July 20th.
