Despite the evening being littered with talking points, Tommy Fury’s brawl with Idris Virgo has made most of the headlines from the KSI vs Joe Fournier card last night.
With both men having appeared on Love Island as well as currently plying their trade as boxers, you’d think they’d have a good rapport given those similarities.
That couldn’t prove to be any further from the truth however, as the two came to blows ringside at the OVO Arena, and it took three minutes and about 20 security guards to restore calm.
And crowd footage has surfaced this morning that shows just how the fisticuffs started.

It wasn’t the only argy bargy Fury was involved in last night, after he and KSI had a push and a pull in the ring following ‘The Nightmare’s controversial second round stoppage win over Joe Fournier.
Though he was officially awarded a knockout victory, replays showed it was an elbow that sent Fournier crashing to the canvas and unable to beat the referee’s count.
Despite appearing to be hard done by and claiming he will appealing the outcome, Fournier is unlikely to get another crack at KSI, who appears to be angling towards a clash with Fury later in the year.
The younger brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, ‘TNT’ has already got the better of one huge figure in the crossover boxing space this year, when he outpointed Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia in February.
And, given the fracas that ensued in the ring last night, it would be very surprising if a blockbuster clash between Fury and KSI was not to take place next.
