# Paul: I will beat the greatest boxer in the history of the planet

Despite never winning a fight, Logan Paul is talking a great one, ahead of his eight-round exhibition with Floyd Mayweather at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday evening.

The YouTube celebrity is 0-1 as a professional, but will enjoy a 34.5lbs weight advantage as well as significant edges in height and reach in what amounts to a fight between a novice cruiserweight and an elite super-welterweight in his mid-40s.

Boxing purists won’t be watching, but a new demographic of fans will be transfixed, with significant Pay-Per-View numbers predicted for the high-profile novelty bout.

Paul says he is ready to shock the world and stop Mayweather in a bout that will have no decision should it go the full eight-round distance.

“He’s not ready, he don’t know what to expect, and this is not the biggest fight of my life,” Paul told *Showtime Sport*.

“This is the biggest fight of his life because he’s got a lot on the line and he’s got everything to lose. I’m going to go in there, have fun.

“Tomorrow I break the simulation and beat the greatest boxer in the history of the planet. I’m going to get it done. Floyd is not ready, that’s all I can say.”

Mayweather, arguably the greatest fighter of the modern era, is naturally undaunted by the prospect.

“I’ve been here before, so I know what it takes,” he told *Showtime Sport.* “I’ve fought every different style you can possibly fight. Height don’t win fights, weight don’t win fights, fighting wins fights at the end of the day and I can fight.*”*
