# Shawn Porter Predicts Floyd Mayweather vs. Tommy Hearns Fantasy Fight

Former world champion Shawn Porter has been asked to predict how a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Tommy Hearns might have gone.

Mayweather remained undefeated across his 50-fight career and won belts up and down the divisions as well as being involved in [epic nights such as his showdown with Manny Pacquiao in 2015](https://www.si.com/fannation/mma/boxing/boxing-news-manny-pacquiao-vs-floyd-mayweather-fight-announced-for-2024). He was a famous slickster with great defence who was always hard to hit.

Hearns meanwhile was a big hitter who became the first boxer in history to win world titles in five weight divisions: welterweight, light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight.

[Porter was asked by ProBoxTV](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eDt9g8TjJTE) to break down the fight had it happened at the welterweight weight limit of 147 lbs.

When I went back to watch a bit of the Hitman’s career, a bit of his originals and some fights from the amateurs and stuff like that, I don’t think Tommy was as skilful as you expect given his much boxing he had done from a young age and grew up doing the sport.

However it might have gone, it would have been a great fight while it lasted.
