Robeisy Ramirez has officially entered a new chapter in his professional career after signing a promotional deal with RAIZN Boxing, a move aimed at repositioning the two time Olympic champion and ex-world champion within the global boxing landscape.
The Cuban, known as “El Tren,” now joins an emerging structure looking to establish itself with young, ambitious talent while also incorporating proven names. Among them is Uzbek standout Lazizbek Mullojonov, who is also part of the company’s roster.
For Robeisy Ramirez, the decision represents more than just a change in promotional direction. It is a strategic move designed to explore new markets and remain active in regions where boxing continues to grow rapidly.
“We’re very happy with this new proposal for Robeisy’s career,” said his manager and advisor José Izquierdo. “There were several offers on the table, but this one was the clearest in terms of a better future for the fighter, and that’s why we chose this path.”
The deal also includes exposure on DAZN, a key element in the fighter’s international projection.
“One of the things we liked is that the company is backed by its relationship with DAZN, where Robeisy’s upcoming fights will be showcased,” Izquierdo added. “Robeisy’s next fight will be for a regional title that will place him in the rankings. We believe that within three fights, we’ll be in a position to challenge for a world title.”
Alongside this promotional move, Ramirez has also made key changes to his team. The Cuban has switched trainers and has established his training camp in Moreno Valley under the guidance of renowned coach Robert Garcia, aiming for a fresh dynamic at this stage of his career.
Ramirez’s first appearance under the new deal could come as early as May 29 at the Humo Arena in Uzbekistan, where the promotion has already announced bouts including Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Hegly Mosqueda on the same card.
The immediate plan for Ramirez’s team follows a clear path: compete for a regional title, climb the rankings, and position himself for a world title opportunity in the near term.
