Ryan Garcia Sends Out Big Warning To Fighters: “It Will Only Get Worse”

Ryan Garcia has issued a warning to any fighters thinking about stepping into the ring and claimed that ‘it will only get worse’.

Garcia’s comments come in the midst of plenty of his own dramas. He is budding up to a fight with Devin Haney on April 20 that will see him challenge for a world title for the first time.

It’s his latest big step up after he fought Gervonta Davis last April, where that ended in a knockout loss. He has grown increasingly erratic in his behaviour in recent weeks causing a storm about everything from the ticket prices to the venue to the fight.

He has fired plenty of verbal insults to Haney and now other fighters are offering to step in and take his place should Garcia pull out of the fight.

In the meantime, he took a moment out to watch Francis Ngannou get knocked out by Anthony Joshua and took to social media in the wake of the fight to issues some words to any MMA fighters who are considering switching codes and trying their hand at boxing.

His post on X told fighters to stop coming over to his sport.

“Let this be A BIG WARNING to MMA fighters!! Stop coming to boxing it will only get worst. ITS more even if we just go to your sport! OVER! ONE PUNCH. Sending healing prayers to FRANCIS! Your bravery and guts should be commendable. CONGRATULATIONS Anthony Joshua.”

Following that fight, Garcia’s promoter issued a big update on whether his fight will indeed be happening next month or not.
