Ryan Garcia continues to behave wildly in the build-up to his fight with Devin Haney and has now kicked off over the ticket pricing and demanded that ‘they need to lower it.’
‘King Ry’ is in the final few weeks before the biggest fight of his career against Haney on April 20 at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.
The location is just one of the things that has annoyed Garcia – and will see him challenge for the super-lightweight belt that Haney won comprehensively off Regis Prograis last year having already become undisputed at lightweight.
Haney has said the fight will be personal after Garcia insulted his religion, and at the first press conference to promote the fight he claimed that his rival was drunk. After that ‘King Ry’ has also called out an MMA fighter and now turned his attention to ticket prices.
In messages posted on X, Garcia can be seen asking for prices to be changed once he got an update on how many had sold.
“They need to lower it it’s not affordable For the people.”
Haney has responded to the message himself and didn’t seem too impressed.
“This f****** guy.”
Last time Garcia stepped up to world title level was against Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis back in April 2023. He lost to a body shot so will be hoping to fare better this time around, but all these distractions cannot be helping.
