Billed as “BOXXER Breakthrough”, many of the potential future stars of British boxing will be out in action on June 25th in Coventry.
Adam ‘The Assassin’ Azim is certainly one to watch out for. Trainer Shane McGuigan described him as the “best natural talent I’ve ever worked with”.
His last fight against Connor Marsden was meant to be his first real test, but it ended within 30 seconds with two knockdowns and a display of blistering hand speed.
Set to bring a large home following is Birmingham’s Sam Eggington who takes on Przemyslaw Zysk for the IBO Super Welterweight Championship.
Also stepping into the ring is Karriss Artingstall. Following a stellar amateur career, which culminated with a Bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Artingstall makes her eagerly anticipated pro boxing debut this Saturday.
BOXXER series tournament winners Cori Gibbs and Dylan Cheema also feature on the undercard. Gibbs faces Spanish opposition in the shape of Carlos Perez however opponents are still to be announced for Cheema, Artingstall and Azim.
