Showtime Sports and Premier Boxing champions have announced a packed five-month summer schedule featuring some of the sports leading names and rising stars.
The schedule features seven world title fights and will take place before live crowds, in line with applicable local Covid-19 safety protocols.
The summer run includes the return of the Charlo twins with Jermall defending his WBC middleweight crown against Mexican Juan Macias Montiel in a homecoming bout in Houston on June 19. One month later, WBC, WBA Super and IBF 154lbs champion Jermell attempts to unify against WBO king Brian Castano on July 17 at a venue to be decided.
In other highlights, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis moves up to 140lbs to face WBA ‘Regular’ champion Mario Barrios on June 26 and WBA ‘Regular’ 118lbs title-holder Guillermo Rigondeaux and WBO king John Riel Casimero collide on August 14.
The Showtime boxing schedule features eight editions of Showtime Championship Boxing and one premier Showtime PPV event, headlined by Davis-Barrios, all presented by Premier Boxing Champions.
