Undisputed super-lightweight champion Josh Taylor will defend his world titles against Jack Catterall in Glasgow on December 18 as part of the newly-unveiled Sky Sports boxing schedule.
Scotland’s Taylor, alongside unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, were two of the marquee names among Sky’s new schedule after parting ways with Matchroom Boxing.
Joshua’s unified title defence against Oleksandr Usyk is set to take place on Sky Sports Box Office on September 25, with Taylor’s clash against mandatory foe Jack Catterall not on pay-per-view.
Sky have joined forced with Top Rank and Boxxer as part of their boxing schedule. Other featured names include Chris Eubank Jr, Hughie Fury, Savannah Marshall, Richard Riakporhe and Caroline Dubois.
Beyond Joshua-Usyk on September 25, the first Sky fight night show takes place on October 2 when Chris Eubank Jr takes on Sven Elbir at the SSE Arena, Wembley. Richard Riakporhe will also feature on the card, with European welterweight champion David Avanesyan taking on Liam Taylor.
Hughie Fury collides with Christian Hammer in Newcastle on October 16, with Savannah Marshall defending her WBO middleweight title against Lolita Muzeya. Lewis Ritson will also feature on the card.
Boxxer will host a tournament in Liverpool on November 6, while Jamel Herring’s WBO super-featherweight title defence against Shakur Stevenson on October 24 will also be shown live.
