IBF and WBA super lightweight champion Josh will meet WBO and WBC ruler Jose Carlos Ramirez in an undisputed showdown on May 22 in Las Vegas.
Taylor, who captured the IBF super lightweight title against Ivan Baranchyk back in May 2019, added the WBA crown to his collection in the World Boxing Super Series final against Regis Prograis four months later.
California’s Ramirez secured the vacant WBC title with a unanimous decision win against Amir Imam in 2018, before stopping Maurice Hooker to secure the WBO belt in July 2019.
The super lightweight pair will meet in Las Vegas in order to crown the first undisputed champion to succeed Terence Crawford, who held all 140lbs titles in 2017 before moving up to welterweight.
