The draw decision between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez has caused a significant amount of reactions in the boxing community. And on top of that, we saw judge Adelaide Byrde score the fight, controversially, 118-110 in favour of Alvarez.
Long time notable boxing figure Teddy Atlas and respected American sports journalist Stephen. A Smith both gave strong opinions about the state of the sport and judge Byrde.
First, it was Atlas who took the stage right after the fight.

Then Atlas went into a bit more detailed verbal rampage about why he thinks boxing is corrupt.

Byrde caused massive controversy with her scorecards. Golovkin’s trainer, Abel Sanchez, claimed she had her scorecard filled before the fight. Also, here’s a picture of Byrde’s scorecard.
“We had the kind of fight that I thought we were gonna have. I thought that one of the judges had her card filled out before she came to the fight. But that’s unfortunate, that in Vegas they seem to go to different schools to learn how to judge a fight. But if Canelo wants a rematch, I’m sure that they’ll put it together and we’ll have another great one,” said the trainer according to boxingscene.com
