# Teddy Atlas Has Made His Mind Up On Who Won The Tommy Fury-KSI Fight

Hall of fame boxing trainer turned analyst, Teddy Atlas, has given his verdict on the much-criticised fight between YouTuber, KSI, and professional boxer, Tommy Fury.

In a scrappy, dull affair which consisted mostly of holding, the judges awarded the unanimous-decision victory to Fury (57-56 x3), despite initially announcing the result as a majority decision.

[KSI protested the judging, claiming he was ‘robbed’](https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/boxing/ksi-calls-tommy-fury-defeat-robbery/92vheb94lgq61d375ums6v13j) and that the officials didn’t want to harm the sport by admitting that a professional boxer was defeated by a novice influencer. Plenty of boxing’s key figures, such as Chris Eubank Jr and Eddie Hearn, also sided with him.

Speaking on his [podcast](https://youtu.be/QOhaRHMx4Mo?si=2bvKhQewVSiz3mVf), Teddy Atlas said nobody who paid for the pay-per-view won, but did agree with the judges decision on the night.

> “I was very surprised that Tommy Fury and his people did not have a better plan. I thought Fury won, I don’t know if it was clear, some people thought that maybe KSI won. I thought Fury won but it got to the point where it was like, who cares? That was the problem. Nobody won, at that point.

> The future of doing these types of events may have been lost, and Tommy Fury will probably go back and have a chance at getting where he wants to get to, but his stock has dropped.”

Whether that is the end of Tommy Fury’s foray into influencer boxing remains to be seen, [with the 24-year-old stating he wants no more of the ‘bulls\*\*t’ that comes with it](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/tommy-fury-ksi-report/).

That being said, with potential big money rematches against KSI and Jake Paul, who could blame him for sticking around a little while longer.
