The highly anticipated influencer boxing match between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury is finally set to take place and fans are finding it hard to call a winner.
The two rivals have signed to fight in Saudi Arabia on February 26th, and their intense face-off in London has built even more momentum for the clash. This is the third time the pair have been scheduled to fight, with Fury pulling out on both occasions before – the first due to injury and then VISA issues getting into America.
Paul caused controversy when he announced the birth of Fury’s daughter before the young fighter had made it public, fuelling the already heated animosity between the two.
With both men now fully into camp and the fight just a few weeks away, fans have been comparing footage of the two in training, trying to decipher who might get their hand raised in Diriyah.
Fans have commented that Fury seems to have the better footwork and boxing fundamentals, whereas Paul may cary a power advantage into the ring.
Paul is trained by BJ Flores, whereas Fury will have is father, John, in his corner come fight night.
Despite fears over not having enough time to train, Fury is putting in the work to prepare for what is expected to be his toughest fight yet – especially in terms of pressure. It will be the first main event of his green career, as well as the first time he’s scheduled to go eight rounds.
The Paul-Fury card will be available for purchase on BT Sport Box Office, with the price yet to be announced. In the United States, the event can be watched on ESPN+ for $49.99.
