Tony Bellew has given his two cents on the clash between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, and it’s safe to say the former world champion did not pull any punches in his assessment.
Fury was awarded a split decision victory over Paul in Saudi Arabia, surviving a late knockdown to secure the crowning moment of his professional boxing career to date.
And Bellew took to his official Twitter account to air his thoughts on the event.
“Tommy Fury is winning, This is madness.. We have all tuned in for an 8 rounder between a novice and you tuber and guess what we’ve all paid for it as well ffs these two have played a blinder – good night.”

Despite Paul giving a good account of himself in the eyes of many, Fury proved to be too much for him, with his jab in particular causing the American problems throughout the night.
After a sour build up that has spanned over a year, the pair showed respect after the contest and embraced, much to the delight of the crowd in Diriyah.
Referee Hector Afu came under heavy criticism from observers for his officiating of the fight, namely the soft point deductions he imposed upon both men without appearing to give either ample warning beforehand.
Paul stated in multiple post fight interviews that he intends to activate the rematch clause and take on Fury again – a move ‘TNT’ claims he would welcome.
‘The Problem Child’ has also been linked to a colossal fight in the influencer space against long time nemesis KSI, who was quick to take to social media to mock him for the loss to Fury.
