Tyson Fury paid a visit Good Morning Britain this morning and sat down with Frank Warren to be interviewed by Piers Morgan who has not always had kind words for Fury.
No fear. 👊

Morgan has publically called Fury ‘a clown’ but there was no ill will between the two this morning. Morgan spoke about topical subjects such as the Anthony Joshua fight and asked if Fury had what it takes to defeat the WBA, WBO, IBF & IBO World heavyweight champion.
“Of course I do or I wouldn’t be sat here today. I’d be in Spain drinking a sangria somewhere. Of course, I think I have the ability. I have too much movement and natural boxing skill to lose to somebody like that. He’s very tough and strong and he has a lot of learned ability but he hasn’t got the natural gift of the sweet science,” answered Fury.
Promoter Warren also chimed in and said that the fight would be the ‘biggest sporting event.’
“I think that would be the biggest fight certainly I’ve ever had in my time in boxing. I think it would be the biggest British sporting event. It’d be huge. It’d frontpage and backpage. It’s a massive fight. Everybody would like to see it. Two undefeated guys and Tyson the lineal champion. I think skill-wise I really think Tyson is the better all-around boxer. He’s got a great boxing brain,” said Warren.

On top of the boxing brain, Fury says that he has the skill and will to come from the brink of defeat. He brought up an example from his fight against Steven Cunningham where Fury was knocked down in the second round but eventually got the win in the seventh via knockout.
“It’s not the fact that I have it or I don’t have it but I know it’s there. Because the reason I know this is I’ve had to show it so many times. For example, when I was in New York and I was way behind on the scorecards, having climbed up from the canvas, I knew I needed a knockout and I pulled it out. I know that it’s there in reserves when I need it. I will need it against somebody like Anthony Joshua,” he said.
Also today it was announced that Tyson Fury’s anticipated comeback fight on June 9 in Manchester will be shown exclusively on BT Sport.
“BT Sport today announced it has extended its partnership with Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions Ltd, continuing as the broadcaster of Frank Warren’s world class stable of fighters which include Billy Joe Saunders and Carl Frampton. BT Sport will also exclusively broadcast Tyson Fury’s heavyweight comeback fight in June.”
