Tyson Fury has continued to call out his promotional team, this time demanding a fight or ‘his contract back.’
‘The Gypsy King’ exploded back onto social media this week, attacking title contenders and demanding his UK promoter, Frank Warren, set up a stadium fight for this summer.
Opponents on the scene – even for a WBC world title shot – are few and far between, largely due to a Saudi Arabian proposal for the top men to face off in December.
That’s left Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder somewhat spoken for, and Oleksandr Usyk is currently a no-go for Fury given their failed negotiations a matter of months ago – even despite that being one of the most important fights in the sport.
Joe Joyce and Zhilei Zhang are heading towards a contractual rematch, and Andy Ruiz Jr has reportedly asked for too much money to step in the ring.
Fury wants to fight, though, and he wants news on that yesterday. His latest demand was targeted at his US handler, Bob Arum.
‘The Gypsy King’ quoted the veteran promoter on social media saying ‘I don’t know if Tyson has an idea of what he wants to do’ alongside a guarantee that he does.
“Ow I know what I want to, Top Rank and Bob. I want you to get me that fight I’m due or give me my contract back!”

The WBC Champ is seemingly not content to wait for the proposed Saudi showdown with Usyk, and wants to follow up his December victory over Derek Chisora with a fight in the next few months.
There are plenty of suitors who have responded to his call, but whether or not any materialise is another matter.
