Tyson Fury makes concession in Anthony Joshua negotiations

‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury has made a compromise on his part to see a fight against Anthony Joshua get over the finish line.

It was reported earlier in the week that Eddie Hearn was at loggerheads with Tyson Fury over his demands, that were deemed too excessive.

Tyson Fury was believed to have been previously demanding a 50-50 split for a fight with Joshua. But his recent tweets indicate a change of heart.

Fury would now be willing to surrender the lion share of the pie for what would be a monumental domestic heavyweight showdown.

“will except (accept) 40% of our fight & will walk first & be announced first, I’m the biggest fight out there for these guys by double.”

Fury furthermore also detailed he would be willing to concede on both walking to the ring and being announced first.

‘The Gypsy King’ then goaded Joshua into accepting a fight by letting it be known his name out of all the heavyweight contenders carries the biggest possible purse for a fight with ‘AJ’.

Fury had previously detailed on Tuesday that he was on track for his ‘return takeover’. He shared his intention to be active over the next two calendar years.

Additionally, Fury also shared that he hopes after ‘4/5 fights’ in 2018, he will be in supreme tip-top fighting shape.

Fury made real steps to making his return to the ring a reality when he had his drawn-out battle with UKAD came to an end at the start of the month.

Fury has since participated in high profile callouts of Anthony Joshua and his Matchroom stablemate, Tony Bellew.  Since we saw Tony Bellew reschedule his rematch with David Haye, we’ve seen Fury direct his focus primarily on ‘AJ’.

Fury has not been seen in the ring since November 2015. In his last professional fight, he dethroned then longtime reigning world heavyweight champion, ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Wladimir Klitschko for the unified Lineal, WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight titles.
