Tyson Fury has stuck by his deadline and announced that a fight with Anthony Joshua is off the table.
Taking to Instagram as soon as the clock struck 5, ‘The Gypsy King’ has insulted ‘AJ’ and said, in no uncertain terms, that he can forget about a shot at the WBC Heavyweight title.
The ultimatum was set this weekend. Fury claims that ‘AJ’s team has been in receipt of the contract to fight him in December for over a week and demanded it be signed today. It turns out it hasn’t been.
“Well guys, it’s official. D-day has come and gone. It’s gone past 5 o’clock Monday.- no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua. He’s now out in the cold with the wolf pack. Forget about it. Idiot. Coward. Sh*thouse. Bodybuilder.
Always knew it. Always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight The Gypsy King. Regardless of what the f**k you say now, I don’t really care, good luck with your career and your life. End of. Peace out.”
‼️ Tyson Fury has now declared that he will NOT be fighting Anthony Joshua next because AJ has not signed the contract today…

The announcement comes at a strange time, as Joshua confirmed yesterday that he intended to sign the contract when it was approved by his legal team – but Fury didn’t budge on his ultimatum. Even despite his promoter, Frank Warren, saying on TalkSPORT around the same time that the door wasn’t closed, some fighters call the shots, and Tyson Fury is certainly one of them.
It’s currently unclear how Fury will proceed now, but strong rumours suggest that the December 3 fight in Cardiff will go ahead, with Mahmoud (formerly Manuel) Charr in the other corner.
