‘The Gypsy King’ isn’t playing nice anymore. In a social media post, he targeted his two main rivals in the heavyweight division.
Tyson Fury, whose next fight is yet to be formally announced, first responded to Oleksandr Usyk’s recent comments. The Ukrainian accused Fury of being ‘afraid’ of him – likely in reference to the fact that an undisputed fight hasn’t materialised. The heavyweight champ expressed himself with both colourful and culinary language.
“Usyk – You little sh*thouse, you little sh*t bag, talking sh*te I’m afraid of you, I’ll put my fist right through the side of you, you little sausage.”
The WBC Champion then took aim at Anthony Joshua. The pair’s potential fight is rumoured for December 3, however a formal announcement is yet to be made. The word from both teams is that real progress has to be made before the week is out for it to be a genuine possibility.
Fury’s frustration at ‘AJ’ for not signing the papers was clear.
“And that other sh*thouse, that big body builder, Joshua, that’s a proper sh*thouse that is – that’s had the contract for I don’t know how long and ain’t signing it – you little sausage. You do not want to fight.”
“Your manager’s a sausage, I’ve never seen anything like it. Both a pack of sh*thouses – however I will be fighting December 3rd if this sausage don’t sign this contract, which I don’t think he is cause I don’t think he’s got the bollocks to cos he’s a shit bag. Both of you, a pair of little sausage sh*thouses. Joshua is a sh*thouse, Usyk is a sh*thouse – you’re all sh*thouses.”
In amongst all the sausages and sh*thouses, Fury’s video has put some much-needed urgency on the Joshua plans. Fans will hope that it’s the spark needed for the teams to either finally confirm the fight or move on.
Whilst many behind the scenes, including Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren, are still speaking highly of the chances it goes ahead, others, like Bob Arum have cast doubt.
